The Doughmaker bakeware has a unique pebble embossed surface that does not scratch off.   Because it is embossed, it allows the heat to go underneath baked goods allowing it to bake more evenly.  It also gives it a non-stick characteristic so that it does not need the problematic coatings on other non-stick bakeware.  Finally, it is great for cake recipes that require greasing and flouring because of the pebble surface helps to adhere to the surface better.
